I intended to delete the first two posts once this site had “gone live”. The pictures were simply culled from a folder I had open on my desktop at the time I was setting it up.

But I think I will leave them up for the moment.

Since 2005 I have been photographing the garden of the painter and gardener Mark Rudkin in the Mesnil Saint Denis (in the Yvelines, outside Paris) and these two images are taken from what has become a dauntingly large body of work and an editing and retouching project I keep putting off .  I intend to add more pictures and a fuller description of the project in a future post. If I don’t manage to put that off too…
